Construction Accounting Software for Estimating and Management
The Simple Solution for Construction Accounting

Profitable contractor ‘pays it forward’ – and encourages other successful businesses to do the same.

Inspired by the story of an Alabama pharmacist that launched a homegrown stimulus plan in support of local charities and businesses, Construction Partner client, Turman Commercial Painters, recently launched a similar campaign they call the People’s Stimulus Package.

While many companies are struggling to survive, Turman’s revenues are the highest they’ve been in 35 years." To pay their success forward, Turman gave their 200+ employees in California, Oregon and Washington envelopes filled with $2 bills to spend in their local communities. According to President and CEO Dave Theobald, Turman has already spent $20,000 on their People’s Stimulus Package and plans to put another $10,000 into circulation soon.

The Theory behind the $2 Bills

Although $2 bills are a little hard to come by (Turman had to get theirs from multiple banks), they’re easier to track once they hit the community. Plus, paying for things like movie tickets, groceries and restaurant meals with $2 bills is a great conversation starter.

Launch Your Own Stimulus Program

Turman hopes that other successful business owners will be motivated by their People’s Stimulus Package to develop their own grassroots campaign to stimulate the local economy. See how you can Pledge to Participate.
